Located on the beautiful Cumberland Plateau, our campground is the home to many district activities during the year. In the Spring a three day Ministerial Retreat is held for our pastors. In May it often hosts Wesleyan Womens, Wesleyan Mens, and Young Adult Retreats. It is home to six LEAD Classes a year, as well as an annual Prayer Retreat. In the Summer it is home to our Childrens Camp, Youth Camp and Family Camp. In the Fall it hosts another Wesleyan Womens Retreat as well as a Youth Retreat. We are in the process of building a new Retreat Center which will have 24 Family Sleeping units, each with a private bath; a meeting area for 150, replete with a fireplace; and a kitchen for food preperation. This building will have central heat and air and will be usable year 'round. On June 26 - July 5 the Camp will celebrate it's 75th anniversary and the building will be dedicated as a part of the celebration on June 28. At present our campground consists of a large tabernacle; dinning hall; three family dorms, all with air-conditioning; two youth dorms; a snack stand; bookstore; RV hookups; and several private cabins. We do rent the campground out to other church groups on a limited basis. For information on renting the campground, contact the district office at dshotle@juno.com.
