Don and Cheri Floyd have been our District's Missionary project for nearly two decades. Cheri was raised in our Clinton Church and has been a life long member of the district. Don was raised in Australia and the two of them met while on a Yes Core Summer Missionary Team in Papua New Guinea. They not only fell in love with each other that Summer, they also fell in love with the people of New Guinea. After their marriage they moved back to New Guinea to begin a life of missionary service. The Wesleyan Church of Australia and the Tennessee District have jointly sponsored the Floyds since the beginning.
